These are website links to some of the wonderful people I have encountered in the German Shepherd Dog world. These fanciers, some I've had the privelege to meet in person, are from all over the world.
Some of these fanciers have blues, some are breeders, some have longcoats and others simply love the German Shepherd Dog breed.

The University of Pennsylvania Hip Improvement Program (PennHIP) maintains a data base of hip evaluations for all breeds. All evaluations, good or bad, are included in the data base. I highly recommend visiting this site if you are truly interested in eliminating Hip Dysplasia.
Although I breed to the SV standard (with the exception of coat color/length), my dogs are AKC registered and compete in AKC sanctioned Obedience Trials.
Although this website includes some very controverial opinions, it also includes some very good images for comparison of the original GSD and the type of dog being bred for the AKC show ring.
This website displays the many colors and coat types of the German Shepherd Dog. It is a very comprehensive and accurate site that is updated regularly.
The Orthopedic Foundation for Animals performs evaluations of Hip and Elbow radiographs on all breeds of dogs and maintain an open database. They also perform other health evaluations such as Cardiac, Thyroid, etc and maintain an open database.
