Dooser was a graduation gift to me in 1994. I had another Golden Retriever named Darryl and a little parti-colored Cocker Spaniel named Dolly at the time. Darryl taught Dooser everything he needed to know to backpack with me and be an excellent companion on our many adventures. Darryl went to the Rainbow Bridge when Dooser was about a year old. Dooser, Dolly, and I continued on until 1997 when I acquired Darcie. Dolly went to the bridge at the ripe age of 16 years in 2000. In 1998 Silly Sam, the blood-donor Greyhound at the Veterinary Emergency hospital where I worked, retired to live with me. Sammy went to the Rainbow bridge in 2000 as well.
